"Technical Director for the Buildings Department is responsible for steering, directing, and over-viewing the technical aspects my clients "Design Department" portfolio. His main responsibilities include the following: § Provide the Design Teams with the required mentoring and leadership to enable them to execute projects effectively and efficiently. § Manage his direct reports. § Coordinate with the PMO Director and the Principals on all resourcing and team allocation issues. § Monitor the utilization rates of all employees and efficiency of all Disciplines’ members. § Ensure proper communications, coordination, and flow of works between the different Disciplines. § Ensure that the recommended technical solutions are sound and cost effective. § Previous experience in the project management, design, construction and contract management of healthcare, industrial and commercial building projects from inception through completion working with design consultants, contractors, government agencies and development teams.
