Experience with various types of steam generators such as PF boilers, Fluidized bed boilers, HRSG etc.
Preparation of Design Criteria/design basis document for Steam generation system. Selection of steam generator.
Preparation/review/analysis of Heat balance Diagrams, Process &Instrumentation Diagrams for steam generation systems, system integration, interfacing with C & I and interfacing with the steam turbine. Preparation of start up and shut down procedures.
Preparation/ Review of Steam Generator System Design Calculations and Equipment Sizing for Forced draft , induced draft system, fuel feeding system, ESP, Chimney and Boiler Feed Pumps etc
Preparation / Review of General arrangement Boiler area and interfacing with other departments.
Review of P&ID’s for Main Plant Systems & Balance of Plant Systems (i.e. HP/IP/LP Steam, Condensate, Feed water Systems and Water System).
Preparation of technical specifications, technical/commercial bid evaluation, Vendor Drawing Review for Boiler & its auxiliaries including ESP, ID fans, FD fans etc. |
